Management Accountant required
for a major housing association based in Birmingham.
Reporting to the
Finance Director, the main purpose of the position will be to manage the
Finance department, and its policies. Monthly financial reporting, involving analysis of corporate
income and expenditure. Cost
control of corporate overhead. Ad-hoc report writing and analysis for Financial Planning
Manager, for financial and non financial users. Manage the Budgeting process; you will also have
responsibility for the corporate utility billing processes, to provide budget
holders with accurate costing and accessible data. Detailed analysing of data, to allow implementation of the
policy to interface directly into the accounting system. Identifying mapping errors within the
new system and correcting them. Forming policies for improvement. You will also be responsible for major project work as
requested by the Finance Director.
The ideal candidate
will be able to effect major change in a positive manor with a results
focussed attitude. You will be an
Accountant ideally with experience of working within a housing
association.
