Senior Accountant (Europe)

Large international not for profit organisation with strong links to the private sector and an ambitious plan for growth, both nationally and internationally.

Due to the continued growth and diversification of my clients portfolio and work load, they now have the opening for a new Senior Accountant to help steer them successfully through this exciting period of development.  The role has full responsibility for the management of the Accounts Payable team of 4, including various other duties as outlined below.

• The management and motivation of a team of 4 Accounts Payable clerks
• The production of the monthly management accounts and performance reports for 3 divisions, to include balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and reporting and cash flow analysis
• Annual budget setting for divisions, to include cash flow forecasting
• Responsibility for inter company reconciliations, and ensuring the integrity of all financial data from divisions
• The monthly consolidation and reporting on divisional results
• Assisting with the Year-end audit, preparing schedules, liaising with Auditors, etc (Financial Accounting duties)

• An experienced user of Oracle Financials
• Excellent user of Excel
• A strong man manager
• Excellent Financial and Management accounting experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• Educated to degree level or equivalent

• Self motivated individual, with a keen eye for detail and a pro-active approach to work

• A strong communicator, with experience of working with individuals at all levels within a corporate structure
