A thriving SME in Yeovil seeking a capable qualified accountant to head up finance department.

Job Description:

A newly created number one role to head up a small finance department and provide financial input to facilitate the ongoing growth of the organisation.

Roles / Responsibilities:

Production and development of monthly financial reports including management accounts and company KPI¿s
Preparation and assistance in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Management of company¿s working capital
Development and implementation of financial and operational controls
Particular focus on costing including working to reduce costs and setting up monthly reports

Skills / Experience:

Suitable applicants will ideally be from a manufacturing background and be used to working within an SME environment. You will have proven costing experience and be keen to manage a small team.

Education / Professional Qualifications:

CIMA, ACCA, ACA

Strong communication skills, keen to add value, able to manage people.
