To act as leading Financial Accountant for the organisation with responsibility for the annual statutory accounts, Fixed Asset register, annual and monthly reporting, cash management, Payroll, planning and budgeting for various business areas and the implementation and enhancement of new systems and procedures.

• Managing the production of the annual financial statements
• Managing the fixed asset register, and taking responsibility for all related budgeting of capital expenditure and depreciation
• Ensuring that Payroll is processed accurately and on time
• Working with department heads on planning and budgeting and bringing together financial and non-financial data into a business plan focused on achieving strategic goals
• Assess proposed projects, new products, and new pricing schemes
• Production of rolling forecasts with analysis and commentary
• Responsibility for implementing and maintaining adequate systems to control the input, processing and output of relevant areas

• Financial Accounting
• Experience of explaining financial information to non-financial people
• Corporation Tax an Income Tax
• Experience of Accountancy and Audit
• Deep understanding of financial reporting and tax

• Qualified Accountant with experience of financial accountancy and audit
• Educated to degree level or equivalent

• Self motivated
