Our client is the leading UK charity helping children and young people with a variety of problems. The charities current turnover is around £35 million and will be looking to grow over the five years. Due to expansion the organisation is looking for a commercial Assistant Management Accountant to join the already successful finance team.
Roles / Responsibilities:
To be involved in the provision of complete, accurate and timely management information.
Inform and update the Financial Controller of the financial impact of all of the division profit and loss accounts within this role.
Work with the FC and Management Accountants in developing and completing the annual budget.
Assist in the implementation of new accounting/business tools and programming of the business requirements, the rollouts and training for end users.
Skills / Experience:
Ideally part qualified accountant with knowledge of preparing management accounts and budget information.
Some experience of interpreting and evaluating financial information and investigating variances.
Ability to use Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel). Experience of Sun would be an advantage.
