Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Description:

An exciting position has opened up for an Accounts Payable Clerk to work in this fast- paced environment. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be involved in a team of 5 and will have regular contact with staff at all levels. The successful candidate's responsabilities will include but will not be limited to:

Roles / Responsibilities:

• Logging all supplier invoices into the SAP system.
• Ensuring that supplier invoices are paid by performing payment runs once a week.
• Reconciling supplier accounts.
• Calculating accruals/rents/pre-payments each month.
• Participating in month-end procedures.

Skills / Experience:

• Excellent computer skills (including Excel) are essential.
• Experience of working with an ERP or SAP system.
• Strong communication skills with colleagues at all levels is a neccessity.

Education / Professional Qualifications:

English and Maths GCSE/ O-level (or equivalent) is essential.

Personal Attributes:

The successful candidate must be organised and have the ability to work under constantly changing deadlines. They must be able to work in a fast-paced, team based environment, whilst being able to take inititive and work un-supervised.
