Roles / Responsibilities:
Candidates will be working in a team of 2 reporting directly into the Financial Controller
Key responsibilities include:
- Sales ledger invoicing
- Cash allocation
- Purchase ledger ¿ matching, batching and coding invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliation weekly
- Payment runs (cheques and BACS) weekly
- Update accruals and prepayments monthly
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with Payroll
- Calculating VAT return quarterly
- Liaising with and providing information to credit controller
- Profit and Loss
- Balance Sheet
- Aspects of all round bookkeeping
Skills / Experience:
Successful candidates must:
- Have solid all rounds accounts/bookkeeping experience
- Be IT competent and have experienced with Sage as well as being able to use MS Excel to an intermediate level
- Work well within a pressured environment, and thrive on hitting targets
- Final stage AAT or qualified by experience
