Financial Analyst

The purpose of the role will allow the Financial Reporting Analyst to complete all monthly Financial Reporting functions and act as a Financial Business Partner to the Touring, Retail & Concessions Businesses.  The Financial Reporting Analyst will provide support to the Financial Controller and business support to the Operations teams within the businesses. The Finance Reporting Analyst will manage and provide direction for the finance team and take full responsibility for deliverables in this area.

• Preparation and reporting of monthly financial package and financial commentary.
• Reporting and consolidation of monthly results, quarterly forecasts, and annual budget via Hyperion.
• Detailed variance investigations into monthly actual and forecast results compared to budget for the income statement, balance sheet and cashflow.
• Ad hoc analyses and reports for the Operational and Finance functions.
• Co-ordination of preparation of departmental presentations
• Hyperion & Navision super user: responsible for the maintenance of global dimensions and posting group set ups
• Responsible for the presenting of the monthly report and investigation of variances, ensuring that the ledger contains up to date budget information, forecasting /budgeting of overheads .
  

• Exposure to supporting the Financial Controller in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the general ledger ¿ including the review of central accounts and other reconciliations, calculations of provisions / accruals and general review of accounts.
• Excellent system experience (Navison, Hyperion)
• Strong commercial knowledge
• The ability to communicate strong accross all levels and have strong influencing skills
  

• Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/or CIMA
• Degree educated
