UK Business Analyst

You will be supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager along with the CFO leveraging knowledge to drive shareholder value.

• Tracking of performance against budgets using a number of techniques and measures, forecasts and KPI¿s highlighting variances to Senior Management
• Contribute to management and group monthly performance and reporting packages ensuring contributed content is accurate and stands up to scrutiny
• Periodic reforecast including reviews of business assumptions and key drivers
• Accurate and timely completion of product budget models and linking of models into overall amalgamated plan
• Monthly updating and continued development of the Company¿s financial budget models ensuring that a detailed 3 year view is constantly maintained
• Compilation of new product budget as part of the product roadmap evolution process
• Ad-hoc or systematic analysis of trends and developments within the business

• Strong track record of business analysis and presenting management information
• Proven competence in identifying trends and using information to have a positive impact on the business
• Track record/demonstrable experience in adding value
• Analytical and commercial
• Experience of working with non-finance departments on reporting KPI¿s
• Proactive contribution to the business
• Very organised with good project management skills
• Very good Excel skills/data manipulation capability - knowledge of SAP is desirable

• Strong track record of high academic achievement
• Qualified in a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
