Large multinational organisation based in Warwick are currently recruiting for a Credit Manager
Job Description:
To manage a team responsible for all aspects of Accounts Receivables
To provide exceptional credit control services to the business
To maximise cashflow by keeping outstanding debt to a minimum
To ensure the team achieve the required levels of accuracy and meet reporting deadlines
A good understanding on UK law with regard to debt recovery
Ability to negotiate payment with senior members of customer organisations
Identification of process improvements to ensure outstanding debt is minimised
Full support in company initiatives to improve business processes
Compliance with the requirements of internal control
Appropriate reporting of departmental and company performance
Ability to provide outstanding service to internal customers
Roles / Responsibilities:
¿ Achieve the KPI¿s of Accounts Receivable
¿ Achieve individual performance and development objectives
¿ Ensuring the requirements of internal control are met
¿ Lead the Accounts Receivable team, setting objectives and managing performance to ensure the
achievement of departmental targets
¿ Ensuring that business improvements are identified and delivered in line with company objectives
¿ Liaison with management at all levels to ensure the risk on outstanding invoices is minimised
¿ Ensure that debt is recovered in accordance with company guidelines
Skills / Experience:
Previous Credit Management experience is essential
Personal Attributes:
¿ Must be a good team worker with attention to detail and can demonstrate a commitment to
identifying and delivering company improvements
¿ A strong background in an Accounting environment with proven experience as a Credit
Control Manager
¿ A demonstrated ability to process large amounts of data quickly and effectively and to deliver
results
¿ Ability to produce management reports on a regular and an ad hoc basis quickly and
accurately
¿ Able to communicate with staff at all levels, from Executive team to staff processing
transactions at Business Units
¿ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team, setting objectives and
monitoring the achievement of those objectives.
